Hi 6E Sepsis Champions!!!
I am creating a blog for us to be able to communicate our efforts and actions on our ongoing fight against sepsis.
Let me know if this type of platform would work.
First, we now have a shelf space in our clean utility room for our Sepsis Kits. I make 5 kits and I have the volunteers help me to keep it at par level of 5.
Second, I have asked our volunteers to mark our culture bottles to help nurses ensure we get 10cc of blood volume in each bottle.
Third, I will be meeting with our Quality nurse regarding our projects, and help us with Lean methodology. Anybody is welcome to join me in this meeting. I will let you know when this meeting will be.
Thank you so much for your active participation as a Sepsis Champion. Looking forward to some great work this year.

Wishing
Wishing for a spirit of valor. Wishing for a spirit of no fear. I realize that life is short, perhaps too short to waste it being afraid to follow what your heart longs to do. Gotta live life to have fun, to be creative, to be happy. But where do we get the courage? How do you become brave? When all your life you have been taught to always do your best in order to succeed, never fail, never wrong. Where do you start then? Does one take baby steps or a big leap?

getting wired
It is amazing that people have grown to be so comfortable sharing their life stories, emotions, bitterness, happiness and every trivial detail about their life on social networking sites. It is as if their "friends" or "followers" are really going to care. Does it make people feel more connected to others that they can share stuff in "real time"? Or perhaps because one feels safer to pour out their feelings online since one cannot see the reactions of those who will read your posts and know how you feel? so you feel less threatened... because if one can only see the "I can care less" look from your friends upon reading your posts, you would just cringe and sulk in a corner, never daring again to open your mouth.
been on "vacation"
Summer break! Been waiting for this since the start of the school year last year... but what happened? how did I not plan for something to do for the summer? I guess, I got too busy with school work that I forgot to plan for a summer break. Now, I don't have a goal.. and it's driving me nuts! Have to think of something really fast to get my mind busy. So here it is, starting a blog!
